The Arts Section

"DigitalArchives.tw" collects various types of digital contents from prestigious organizations nationwide and across many fields. By transforming them into carriers like novels, comics or illustrations, we can create whole new characters and stories, and introduce innovative styles that have never been shown before.

The Geography Section

Aerial photos and remote sensing imagery provide the most direct, authentic and plentiful information of the surface. You can understand Taiwan's urban development and environmental change through the period map of Taiwan, check which city you would like to visit in the future!

The Integrative Activities Section

We have specially picked the most popular games from the previous exhibitions, so come and try them all!

"Open Request-for-Proposals Projects" offers opportunities for public institutions and research centers to digitize materials with specific topics systematically for preservation and further uses.

"Rescue wetlands" developed by National Museum of Natural Science is an online and onsite integrated teaching materials. It is specially designed for the subject of science and technology on the primary school level.

The Self-Study Section

NTU:The wonderful world of insects! Let’s follow the characters of Alice, the boy and Flower Beetle into the marvelous insect world!

NPM:For shortening distances between audiences and historic objects, the NPM implemented stereoscopic 3D animated techniques of personification by cooperating with Digimax to create the amazing 3D animated films. In the “Adventures in the NPM” series, audiences are guided by a lovable trio of characters, the Child Pillow, Jade Pi-Hsieh and Jade Duck, to take adventures in the museum as well as explore NPM’s great collection.

TFCO:The mission of “Taiwan Film Culture Co.” was to produce newsreels, documentaries, and educational films sponsored by Taiwan Province Government. These films thoroughly recorded people’s life in Taiwan during 1950s to 1980s, leaving us valuable cultural heritage.

The Natural Sciences and Humanities Section

In order to allow users to access these resources freely, Academia Sinica set up an online museum called the ''Digital e-Cloud Museum of Academia Sinica''. Two themes “National Treasure Museum” & “Taiwan Shells Museum” are now well established. Come and explore for yourself!

The Languages and Art Appreciation Section

Kwang-Chung Yu (1928-) is a famous contemporary writer, poet. Yu’s literary works can be categorized into four types: poetry, prose, commentary, and introductory remarks.Yu's photograph collections and manuscripts also depict the outline of the contemporary Taiwanese literature and arts development.

This competition aims to encourage the public take further steps to learn, share, browse, exchange, and experience the new digital life. The top three award-winning masterworks are displayed in this special exhibition.
